French Polynesia
Island hopping through French Polynesia, with stops in Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora. Think waterfall hikes through the lush landscapes that inspired Moana’s “Heart of Te Fiti,” stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling in crystal-clear lagoons with stingrays and reef sharks, and a couple of unforgettable nights in the most beautiful overwater bungalow. Ask me about the most memorable meal I’ve ever experienced, and hint: it didn’t involve Michelin stars. It involved sitting in a cheap plastic chair next to my husband and friends, my feet in the ocean, enjoying some of the freshest poisson cru I’ve ever tasted.
Switzerland & France’s Alsace Region
From hiking and trottibiking through the Swiss Alps to cozy fondue dinners, Switzerland was the perfect mix of adventure and alpine charm. In the Alsace, we explored enchanting villages that inspired Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, visited castles and WWII sites, and toured the wine region with a private tasting.
Christmas in New York
New York City at Christmas is truly magical. We stayed at the beautifully decorated Lotte New York Palace in Midtown and experienced the season at its best—from the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall and the Rockefeller Center tree to ice skating and holiday market shopping in Bryant Park. We saw Wicked on Broadway, took a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park, and enjoyed memorable dinners and experiences with my daughters that created the kind of Christmas memories that last a lifetime.
Croatia
Croatia was an absolute bucket-list trip. We began on the Istrian Peninsula in the quintessential coastal town of Rovinj, wandering its cobblestone streets and discovering something new around every corner. We went truffle hunting with dogs through the Istrian forests, explored Opatija and its beautiful Lungomare promenade, and hiked through the waterfalls and turquoise lakes of UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. In Split, we traded our car for a seven-night small-ship cruise along the Dalmatian Coast, visiting islands like Hvar, Vis, and Korčula—each with its own traditions, culture, and cuisine. We ended in Dubrovnik, walking the ancient city walls and getting lost in centuries of history.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica is an incredible destination for families or couples looking for adventure. With 12 distinct ecosystems, there’s an incredible variety of landscapes and experiences to explore. Spend time along the coast in charming beach towns, or head inland to Arenal for hiking, waterfall rappelling, rainforest adventures, and encounters with wildlife like sloths and monkeys. Add in incredible food and some of the world’s best coffee, and Costa Rica is a destination that truly has it all.
London - Normandy - Mont St Michel - Paris
A two-family adventure through London, Normandy, and Paris, filled with history, culture, and unforgettable experiences. In London, we explored Borough Market, watched the Changing of the Guard, toured royal London and the Crown Jewels, and stepped into the world of Harry Potter at Warner Bros. Studio. We then traveled by train under the English Channel to Normandy during the 80th anniversary of D-Day, where an incredible history tour brought the stories of the beaches to life—and we had the privilege of walking the very shores where so much of our freedom was fought for. Along the way, we visited Mont-Saint-Michel, a breathtaking medieval abbey perched on a tidal island that is one of France’s most iconic landmarks. We finished in Paris with an adventurous e-bike tour, a food tour through Montmartre, and visits to Versailles, Sainte-Chapelle, the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, and Le Marais. A very full journey, but one filled with moments and memories we’ll never forget.
Vegas - Zion - Bryce - Grand Canyon - Sedona - Scottsdale
Took the grandparents on an epic Southwest national parks adventure! Flying into Las Vegas, we caught a show at the Bellagio before heading to Zion, where we stayed at a fun glamping resort with an Airstream and luxury tent, perfect for the girls. We hiked some of Zion’s best trails, but the highlight was riding e-bikes along the scenic Zion Canyon road to the trailhead for The Narrows, where we spent seven miles hiking through the Virgin River in waders with walking sticks. From there, we explored Bryce Canyon’s iconic hoodoos, ventured into the incredible slot canyons of Antelope Canyon in Navajo Nation, and took in the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. We finished our adventure in Scottsdale with a few days of hiking and much-needed R&R before heading home.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Attended a work conference, but turned it into a family adventure! We took the kids to Jackson Hole for some spring skiing, where they quickly outskied me, but I’m okay with it! We experienced the infamous waffle at the top of Jackson Hole (and have the ski helmet sticker to prove it), then spent our evenings wandering Jackson’s charming streets, browsing local shops, and discovering some fantastic restaurants. One of our favorite sushi spots was found in Jackson of all places—a delicious surprise in the middle of ski country!
